A 1930s home reimagined in Addiscombe
This 1930s terraced house in Addiscombe had remained virtually untouched for over 40 years, presenting both a challenge and an opportunity.
We undertook a complete back-to-brick refurbishment, reconfiguring the internal layout and delivering a home that combined period character with contemporary living.
Our works included full renewal of electrics and plumbing, installation of a new kitchen and bathroom, and the addition of a 3m ground-floor rear extension built under Permitted Development.
The extension was designed to maximise natural light, featuring an exposed timber joist ceiling, a large roof light, and bi-fold aluminium doors opening onto the garden. High-quality finishes such as Tuscan clay tiles gave the property a distinctive, enduring character.

The entire construction process and project management were handled in-house, ensuring control over quality, timelines, and cost efficiency.
Purchased in September 2023 and sold in August 2024, the project delivered a strong return on investment while setting a benchmark for the thoughtful transformation of period homes
